[dropcap letter="R"]ecently, netizens fell in love with a viral video of Claire Koch, a hearing five-year-old kindergartner who signed Christmas carols during her school's holiday concert so her Deaf parents can enjoy the show.

Just in time to get everyone in the holiday spirit, here are 8 excerpts from Christmas Songs in FSL or Filipino Sign Language. FSL is a form of visual and manual communication that includes facial expression and body movements used by deaf individuals and hearing interpreters in the Philippines. It is a distinct language with its own content, grammar and principles that are not dependent on spoken English or Filipino languages and is a completely visually-oriented language.
